1. Purpose and Characteristics

NJS-150 in-situ single shear tester is developed and produced according to the standard GB/T 50315-2011. It is a specialized instrument suitable for testing the shear strength of building masonry. This instrument is with a small hydraulic device that uses a piston to lift and push the cover plate to generate a force to test the shear strength of the masonry block, which make the block upper and lower surfaces to shear. The shear strength of the masonry block is calculated by measuring the force at which the block shears. The test results are intuitive and partical damage is detected.

② The manual pump is used to load the oil cylinder, which is easy to operate and has strong interchangeability.

③ The digital display pressure gauge can directly read the shear force.
