1. Usage

The NJTT-940 Steel components zinc coating adhesion performance tester is a specialized instrument for measuring the adhesion performance of galvanized layers on highway steel components. It can be used in the laboratory or for on-site measurement. The adhesion performance tester consists of three components: a hammer head, a hammer handle, and a base. 

The working principle of the Steel components zinc coating adhesion performance tester is as follows: fix the base on a horizontally stable platform, and the surface of the test piece should be kept at the same height as the base and on the same horizontal plane. During the test, after the hammer handle is perpendicular to the bench and remains stable, the hammer handle and hammer head are allowed to fall freely, and strike parallel on the test piece surface with 5points  at 4mm intervals to check the zinc layer status on the surface of the test piece.

3. Structure

TheNJTT-940 Steel components zinc coating adhesion performance tester consists of three components: hammer head, hammer handle, and base, as shown in Figure 1.

4. Materials and Quality

The hammer head is made of 45 # steel, with a weight 210g and a chrome plated surface.

The hardness of the hammer blade (Shore) shall not be less than 40HS.

The hammer handle is made of oak and has a mass of 70g.

The base is made of Q235 steel and the surface is chrome plated.


5. Appearance

The surface of the hammer head should be smooth, flat, resistant to wear and rust; The surface of the hammer handle should be smooth, flat, and free of burrs.

The connection between the hammer head and the hammer handle should be firm; The base and hammer handle should move flexibly.
