I. Overview

SMDJ-1  Marshall Electric Compactor is a special equipment for forming the test piece in the Marshall test of asphalt mixture, which is suitable for the Marshall test of asphalt mixture ( JTJ052-2000 ) standard. The instrument consists of two parts: mechanical transmission and control instrument. The mechanical transmission mechanism is driven by motor, reducer and chain. The circuit control adopts the integrated circuit to preset the counter, the counter can be arbitrarily selected in the range of 0-9999 , and has a memory function. There are preset number buttons, digital display and work stop buttons on the instrument panel. The compactor can automatically compact according to the preset number of compactions. When the number of compactions is up, it will automatically cut off the power supply and turn off the motor. The mechanical transmission and control of the instrument are divided into two parts to improve the reliability of the whole machine. In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the compactor, all transmission parts and heavy hammers of the compactor are installed in the casing. And there is a safety lever to prevent the compaction head from falling when the tryout is being loaded or unloaded.

2. Main use

SMDJ-Ⅰ   Marshall Electric Compactor This instrument is for users to make asphalt mixture test pieces (Φ 101.6x63.5mm ) for laboratory experiments on physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixture. The product adopts standard compaction hammer and standard compaction table, and has the characteristics of digital control, arbitrary setting of the number of shots, accurate drop height, automatic counting and so on.
