1. Main use

It is suitable for non-cohesive soil with a particle diameter of less than 5mm, and the mass of the sample with a particle diameter of 2-5mm is not greater than 15% of the total mass of the sample, so as to determine the maximum density and minimum porosity ratio of the soil for calculating its relative density. The instrument is mainly composed of a motor and a sprocket drive mechanism. One set of sprockets drives the hammer to ram the soil sample up and down, and the other set drives the vibrating fork to vibrate the soil sample back and forth to obtain the maximum density and relative density of the sample.
