Overview:

The Rock Disintegration Resistance Tester is primarily used to determine the rock’s durability and disintegration resistance index. It evaluates a rock’s ability to resist disintegration following repeated cycles of wetting and drying caused by climatic conditions. The device features a motor mounted on the base plate that rotates two drum-shaped specimen chambers at a speed of 20 revolutions per minute. The cylindrical specimen chambers are mounted on lubricated bearings, ensuring frictionless rotation. Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, the chambers are equipped with two water troughs. This instrument is widely used in universities, research institutes, and testing centers for determining the durability of clay-rich rocks and weathered rocks.
